Comprehensive modern gallery and 60 acre outdoor historic village make this a complete visit. Skilled and engaging staff everywhere informed our experience.Full review by thomasjohnston123

Is this something you could take two 17 month children to? Are there exhibits they would enjoy in the winter?
A:
No, but "The Museum" is downtown Kitchener, not the same, is really a children's museum. Better.

We were the first history class from Waterloo County to live at St Marie Among The Hurons in Midland Ont & write a booklet containing poems,,stories & diaries etc based on our experiences.I am interested in obtaining a copy.This would be approx 1975 or 1976

No, but a couple of ideas for you. Have you thought about contacting the school to see if they might have a copy in their archives, contacting Waterloo Region Museum directly (to see if it was in Doon Pioneer Village's archives from the seventies) or contacting Sainte Marie Among the Hurons (sorry Trip Adviser would not allow me to share their website but easy to find on line) to see if perhaps the school or your teacher sent them a copy of same. Hope you find what you're looking for!
