This is the big square in the center of town, and after we had visited the Duomo, we lingered for a while to drink in the magnificent architecture and to look at some of the cafes on the square.Full review by Thomas V

No, there no charges to go in the Square.. The best street to walk in, from the Square, is Via Etna. That's where the best shops and restaurants are.

Is this attraction easy to walk to from the cruise port please? We have the day in Catania but we have been to Taormina and Etna . We would like to just wander around and have a nice Sicilian lunch. Any suggestions for a relaxed day? We were thinking of the \duomo and the Giardini Bellini, but I am not the world's best walker .
A:
Yes. It is really easy and close, just exit from the port, turn left and walk following the archs. You'll arrive at "Porta Uzeda" at your right. Cross it and you'll be there.
