Coming on Gosport ferry. Is it possible to walk from the ferry pontoon landing to the historic dockyard?

Yes a very short walk from the ferry to the dockyard. One point worth mentioning, the Mary Rose Experience is separate from the Dockyard so you will need to pay both.
