Fun to climb up the Monument and read the boards on each level, giving detailed information about Ecuador. Views are outstanding from the top! Many shops with mementoes in the area.Full review by EileenMtShasta

I’m sorry. We did not have luggage with us so I didn’t notice if there is a storage area. You wouldn’t have a problem keeping a large backpack with you while You tour the grounds.

There are various range of hotels/hostels here. In Mariscal Foch area it is alive in the night and lots of hostels around $20-$30 per day , In addition remember the airport is 30 min away …

In Mariscal Foch area it is alive in the night and lots of hostels around $20-$30 per day , In addition remember the airport is 30 min away from the city, and the rental car ask for 5k deposit cash or credit card. also I meet a good guy which has a 8 passenger van and will give you a tour around the city and is real cheap , he will stay with you all day long.
When I visited Mitad del Mundo in late May there was an artist exhibiting his work near the "line". I took his portrait at his studio but lost his name and adress there. Can you provide his name and email address so I can send him the photo? Many thanks.

Yes, easily found for bus, taxi , tour. It is just a monument with a museum inside set in the latitudinal location with shops & cultural exhibitions of art & photos
