We don't necessarily expect to spend a lot of time there as we are attending a funeral there early in the morning and have a large group of adults/kids with us; but want to see the most important areas.

Hi, I think you're probably looking at a couple of hours to see everything. You'll want to see the guard change at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier so that may affect your timings.
