Baltimore Orioles lose to Cleveland 6-3 for fourth defeat in five games since All-Star break
Angel Martínez had three hits, José Ramírez homered and the Cleveland Guardians defeated the Baltimore Orioles 6-3 Tuesday night for their fourth win in five games since the All-Star break. Kyle Manzardo and Bryan Rocchio each drove in a pair of runs as the Guardians have won 10 of 12 after a 10-game losing streak to get back to .500 at 50-50.

The Guardians used a left-handed starter and stacked nine lefties and/or switch-hitters in their lineup to beat the Orioles on Tuesday.
Baltimore’s Ryan O’Hearn, with two out in the third, sent a grounder to third baseman Jose Ramirez. Santana tried to scoop Ramirez’s throw, but it hit his glove and fell out. Former Guardian Ramon Laureano, the next batter, added an extra sting to the error by homering off Tanner Bibee for a 5-3 lead.
The Guardians were knocking on the door all night. The home team in red had every opportunity to break the door down in their eventual 10-5 victory over the Orioles. Inning after inning, Cleveland just couldn't deliver with runners in scoring position.
Jose Ramirez hit a three-run homer and Bo Naylor and Kyle Manzardo had solo shots as the Cleveland Guardians beat the visiting Baltimore Orioles 10-5 in their series opener Monday night.
