Class A third-ranked Cyril beat No. 2 Caddo 47-34 Saturday as the Pirates claimed their first girls basketball crown. Goombi led Cyril (24-5) with 13 points, while Hadley Gibson had 11 and Averi Carlson added nine.

Sophie Lane scored 17 points, recorded three rebounds and had three blocks for second-seeded Westfield in its 62-55 victory against top-seeded Bayonne, No. 8 in the NJ.com Top 20, to claim the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 Tournament title on Saturday.
