President Donald Trump on Thursday said he was in no hurry to launch an attack on Iran over its nuclear program, a day ahead of U.S.-Iran talks in Rome.

Make Iran dismantle its nuclear and missile programs. Then its top negotiator started softening his tone, and had to retreat.

Iran has faced suspicion for decades over its nuclear ambitions and whether it’s developing the capability to fire an atomic weapon. The Islamic Republic has been ramping up production of fissile material in recent years and would likely be able to produce the amount of enriched uranium needed for a bomb in less than a week.
