An elaborate ceremony with colorfully-dressed dancers and decorated elephants was held in Jaipur, India, as U.S. Vice President JD Vance, his wife Usha, and their three children visited on Tuesday.

Modi's office said the two leaders "welcomed the significant progress in the negotiations for a mutually beneficial India-U.S. Bilateral Trade Agreement."

US Vice President's four-day visit comes two months after PM Modi held talks at the White House with Trump, who unveiled 26 per cent tariffs on India.
