Shares of Korn Ferry climbed after the consulting firm posted fiscal third-quarter results that surpassed Wall Street views, along with upbeat fourth-quarter guidance. The stock was up 10% at $69.01 in mid-morning trading on Tuesday. Shares are now up 6% over the past year.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — LOS ANGELES (AP) — Korn/Ferry International (KFY) on Tuesday reported earnings of $58.4 million in its fiscal third quarter. On a per-share basis, the Los Angeles-based company said it had net income of $1.10. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.19 per share.

Korn Ferry said its board approved a 30% increase to the company's quarterly cash dividend, raising it to 48 cents per share from 37 cents. The new dividend, $1.92 per share annually, represents a dividend yield of about 3%, based on Monday's closing share price of $62.52.

Korn/Ferry (KFY) came out with quarterly earnings of $1.19 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.13 per share. This compares to earnings of $1.07 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.
