Rivian Automotive Inc. said it will now sell its electric delivery van designed for Amazon.com Inc. to other customers, a move to boost revenue from fleet operators as consumer demand for battery-powered cars slows.

Shares of Rivian Automotive rose Monday after the company said it would start selling its all-electric delivery vans to other companies besides Amazon.com. Rivian shares were up 3.4% at $12.90 in midday trading on Monday,

Rivian will sell its commercial electric vans to any U.S. business that wants one — more than a year since ending an exclusivity deal with backer Amazon.
