While we don’t know everything about Marvel Studios ’ upcoming Thunderbolts* (like what the asterisk stands for), thanks to the new trailer released during the Super Bowl, we have an even clearer confirmation of who the villain is.

But timed to the recent Super Bowl trailer came a tweet from Marvel Studios Japan featuring an international Thunderbolts* poster which seems to give away the meaning of the asterisk: “*The Avengers are not available” it reads.

Ever since the Thunderbolts* movie title was revealed, the mysterious asterisk at the end of the word has kept fans guessing. It makes sense that the asterisk has been an object of much curiosity.
