Paige Bueckers had 23 points, nine rebounds and five assists to lead No. 5 UConn to a 91-49 victory over Seton Hall, the Huskies’ 41st straight victory over the Pirates.

It seems that anything can happen to the UConn men’s basketball team in Newark. The Huskies appeared to have overcome their sloppiest start to a game this season with 45 seconds left in regulation. Seton Hall guard Dylan Addae-Wusu tied the game with three foul shots and a second-chance 3-pointer with three seconds left.

Heading into Saturday, there was some misguided chatter on the interwebs predicting a UConn fan-takeover of the Prudential Center. As paltry as Seton Hall’s attendance has been this season, UConn remains a glamor game and Pirate fans do have pride. And that pride came to the fore here.
