Members of the Black Creative Circle who are participating in the painting of the mural include Virgil, Vitus Shell, Rodrecas Davis, Jennifer Haynes and Roxanne Santos.

MN Black Theatre Circle, in partnership with the Guthrie Theater, will present "Blackness Is…," a theater-inspired arts festival to be streamed at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 7 p.m. Sunday.

That is one of the reasons that Full Circle, a group of Black climbers and mountaineers, was formed. About 4,000 people have summited Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak.
