CM Punk and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes had a heated confrontation on WWE RAW, just days ahead of WWE Royal Rumble. Rhodes stood in the ring at the end of the January 27th episode of WWE RAW after Sami Zayn accidentally hit him with a Helluva Kick.

Cody Rhodes came face-to-face with CM Punk in the middle of the ring during "WWE Raw," where they discussed the upcoming Royal Rumble event.

Punk stopped Cody from leaving and said a lot of people have wanted him to catch up, until he did. Cody fired back that he wanted Punk to win the Rumble and catch up so he could see the look on his face when the Best in the World finds out he isn't that anymore.

CM Punk had another Royal Rumble to forget. The Best in the World had a career year in 2024, with notable feuds and intentions to main event WrestleMania. Punk wanted a better Rumble outcome, suggesting a more satisfying finish.
