Charles Dolan, a billionaire television pioneer who founded HBO, AMC and Cablevision, has died. He was 98.

But Patrick Dolan, one of Charles’ sons, purchased Newsday Media Group back in later years. Another son, James L. Dolan, served as CEO of Cablevision from 1995 until 2016, when the company was sold.
