Don Quijote in Waipahu is closing for good at the end of the year, the owners have announced. The store’s last day will be Dec. 31.

Dec. 31 will be Don Quijote Waipahu’s last day of operation as its ground lease comes to an end. The store plans to remain stocked through New Year’s Eve, including selling permitted firecrackers.
