Ferrari has made a statement explaining the disqualification of both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton in Formula 1's Chinese Grand Prix

There were Formula 1 good vibes at Ferrari after Lewis Hamilton’s controlled and emphatic Sprint Race victory on Saturday in China, but the performance of the SF-25 fell away across the remainder of a weekend, before it ended in a rare double disqualification.

In total, Ferrari lost 18 points to disqualifications at Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix, a haul that would have more than doubled its current points total, which stands at 17. As painful as it may seem now for Ferrari, if the 2024 title battle with McLaren is anything to go by, it could be excruciating by the end of the year.
