Kylian Mbappé received with a one-game suspension after being shown a red card for a violent tackle against Alaves on Sunday, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) announced Tuesday.

In the 38th minute of the match between Real Madrid and Alavés, part of LaLiga’s Matchday 31, referee César Soto Grado took center stage after sending off Kylian Mbappé for a hard tackle on Antonio Blanco.

Kylian Mbappe was sent off during Real Madrid's La Liga away clash against Alaves this past weekend. Los Blancos managed a slender 1-0 win in that game. Mbappe was given his marching orders for a reckless challenge on Blanco during the first half.
