It was an easy thing to lose in the shuffle of all that has gone on with the Dallas Mavericks in the last month, with each day seeming to bring a new devastating disappointment, but Monday night's injury to star guard Kyrie Irving was not the only tough break for the team on the evening.

As if losing Kyrie Irving wasn't bad enough, the Mavericks have been dealt another tough injury update with Jaden Hardy.

Irving’s injury put the Mavericks’ backcourt depth in flux, but the loss of Hardy limits Dallas’ point guard room to Dante Exum, Spencer Dinwiddie and two-way guard Brandon Williams — who dropped a season-high 34 points to lead the Texas Legends to a win over the Long Island Nets on Sunday.
