Earlier on 2 October 2019, a gang of three burgled their way into Lalitha jewellery branch in Chathiram bus stand and decamped with 13 crores worth gold, diamond and platinum ornaments.
The theft happened between 2am and 3am. Lalitha Jewellery CMD Kiran Kumar told reporters here in the evening that gold, diamond and platinum ornaments worth Rs 13 crore were stolen.
