Nigerian artist Marcellina Akpojotor has gained international recognition for her portraits, which explore themes of family, femininity, and female empowerment in contemporary African society.

Marcellina, owned by Tina Ziccardi of Wildwood Crest, is frequently cited as an example of the benefit of diversifying the stores on the Wildwood Boardwalk.
