The S.C. Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division has begun a three-year accreditation process to further strengthen its effectiveness and meet nationally recognized standards.

Late last month, former Department of Natural Resources director, Alvin Taylor, was named to the S.C. Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame in Columbia for his exemplary service in South Carolina.
