There's a new FedEx Cup points leader after The Players Championship, and he's an old hand at winning the Tour's season-long race.

Karl Vilips made the most rapid ascent of any PGA Tour player with his victory at the Puerto Rio Open. Even though it was for less than half of the points Henley got (300), Vilips went from 161s to 35 th on the points list and more importantly made the field for The Players Championship this week, where 750 points will be awarded to the winner.

Rory McIlroy won his second The PLAYERS Championship and along with that is another huge prize added to his ever-growing career earning total.
