Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Arlington opens Splash Island, a water attraction with slides and interactive elements.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor has opened a new attraction the park says is designed for families to visit together. Splash Island has 17 slides and a bucket that drops 1,000 gallons of water.

A massive splash pad and a Texas-sized tipping bucket carrying 1,000 gallons of water round out the main features.
