HOLLAND, MI — Holland State Park is known for its sugar sand beach. But before beachgoers can run into Lake Michigan, crews need to clean up the wind-blown piles in the parking lot.

From April 14 to April 28, 2025, Holland State Park's beach day-use area and parking lot will be closed while crews relocate sand that accumulated over the winter, DNR officials said.
