The last white Christmas in Cleveland (7 inches) and Detroit (an inch) was in 2020. Most of the region didn't see a white Christmas last year because the snow was confined to the northern Great Lakes.

As we cruised around Huntsville late Monday morning, no snow was falling from the sky, but much of the area was covered in white powder. Two words came to mind: snow day.
