In a significant development in the foldable mobile phone market, Apple is reportedly preparing to launch its first-ever foldable iPhone alongside the iPhone 18 series next year. The foldable iPhone would represent Apple's most dramatic design transformation in smartphone history,

“When the company introduces its first foldable iPhone at the end of next year, it will be entering a product category that’s already seven years old—pioneered and dominated by its biggest hardware rival, Samsung Electronics Co. And this time, Apple won’t be debuting a radically new interface or transformative hardware,” writes Gurman.

The foldable iPhone is expected to feature a book-style design, akin to Samsungs Galaxy Z Fold 7 and could be price around $2,000.
