As the New York Giants prepare for their training camp run, Malik Nabers and the rest of the wideouts linked up for one more session before the preseason.
Maybe they were firing themselves up for pivotal training camp, trying to galvanize the rest of the team to follow suit. Whatever the motivation, even if it’s contrived, having some in-house rivalries on the Giants’ line of scrimmage is honestly exciting.
The NFL season is underway. The road to San Francisco for Super Bowl 60 begins in the grueling summer heat. Some teams have new coaches. A couple of old coaches have new teams. Star players have switched uniforms. There are position battles to determine. And, plenty of storylines to watch.
Before teams begin training camp next week, New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart was named one of the rookies with the most to gain from performing well.
Wide receiver Darius Slayton, a product of the 2019 draft class, enters his seventh year in the NFL — he and nose tackle Dexter Lawrence are the longest-tenured Giants players. He admitted all the losing got to him, but he decided to accept a three-year offer to return.
