On July 19, 2025, officials from Kerr County, Texas, reported that the number of missing people in the July 2025 floods dropped from more than 160 to three.
During the first city council meeting since the July 4th flood, city leaders discussed the need for weather sirens and the lack of communication from Kerr County.
Some leaders said they are not prepared to raise taxes for what costs “might” be around the corner as Kerr County rebuilds from the Hill Country floods.
Kerr County reports 3 missing and 107 deaths, including 37 children, post-flooding. Over 1,000 workers helped lower the missing count, and community support aids the ongoing search and relief efforts.

“We have no information,” Mayor Claud Jordan said. “Nobody has called us. Nobody has contacted us.” Just over two weeks since the deadly Hill Country floods, Jordan said he’s had little to no communication with Kerr County officials, which was supposed to change on Monday at the monthly Ingram City Council meeting.

Through Aug. 31, the company will donate proceeds from 12-packs of Lipton Hard Iced Tea sold in Texas, up to $30,000, to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country's Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. The funds will provide immediate and long-term aid to Texans impacted by the floods.
