Rusev made his surprise return to the company on Monday’s Raw after WrestleMania 41, and he made his presence felt by taking out Alpha Academy members Otis and Akira Tozawa in impressive fashion. It marked his first appearance in WWE since he was released by the company back in April 2020.

Rusev made his long-awaited return to WWE during Monday Night Raw after a fiver-year stint at AEW. Fans were stunned by the unexpected mid-match return during a tag-team clash between Otis and Akira Tozawa and The New Day.
