For a third day running, Palestinians have been killed while collecting aid - the IDF confirms it fired shots and is investigating.

They were trying to collect aid in Rafah, according to Gaza's health ministry. The IDF said 'details of the incident are being looked into.'

Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, Israel has pursued a devastating offensive in Gaza since October 2023, killing more than 54,500 Palestinians, most of them women and children. Aid agencies have warned about the risk of famine among the enclave's more than 2 million.
