Following the news of Pope Francis’ death, President Donald Trump addressed the annual White House Easter Egg Roll and honored the late pontiff.

Flags are to be flown at half-staff in Alabama, starting April 21. According to a news release, Gov. Kay Ivey, in accordance with the Presidential Proclamation, authorized flags be at half-staff at the state Capitol and throughout the state to remember Pope Francis. His Holiness died April 21 in Rome at the age of 88.
