An 11-pound dog that backed up tons of traffic in Pittsburgh's Fort Pitt Tunnels has been taken to an animal shelter while the Western PA Humane Society tries to locate its owner.

The tan-and-brown Chihuahua mix stopped traffic in the inbound tunnel for about 30 minutes Monday morning. That happened about 10:30 a.m. when motorists noticed the dog running through the tunnel.
