As one of the snowiest towns in Arizona, Flagstaff in the winter is simply mesmerizing.

In 2024 across northern Arizona, average temperatures were far above normal. For many locations, the year was in the top three warmest on record.
While 1–3 inches of snow may fall in Flagstaff through midnight, a total of 4–8 inches could collect in the area by the end of the week. Arizona Snowbowl may see 6–12 inches by the end of the week, with 3–6 inches possible over Sunrise Park. Depending on the speed of the storm system, these totals may shift a bit.
Over the past couple of months, record fall and winter heat and a lack of precipitation have led to Flagstaff's driest start to winter on record.
