After joining Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks, goaltender Spencer Knight has found out who will take up his spot in his former team, as the Florida Panthers confirmed a big trade in the NHL.
Chicago sent defenseman Seth Jones and a 2026 fourth-round pick to Florida for Knight and a conditional first-round pick in next year’s draft. The Blackhawks also retained 26% of Jones’ salary in the deal, which works out to about $2.5 million annually.
Spencer Knight, from Darien, CT, led the Chicago Blackhawks to a victory over the LA Kings in his first game with the team since a trade.
