His statement came as a forthcoming book has now claimed that Kamala Harris made every attempt to appear on the show and even planned a Houston rally so that she could stop by Rogan's Texas studio but it did not finally materialize -- signaling that Rogan is to be blamed for it.

The book, by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, details the Harris camp’s frustration with the Rogan booking process. The book said that the Harris campaign arranged an event with Beyoncé in Houston on Oct. 25 in order to fit with a possible Rogan sitdown in nearby Austin.
