A violent weekend chase ended with a chilling twist Tuesday when Sedgwick County deputies found a fugitive hiding inside a refrigerator.

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest of 37-year-old Thomas Torrez, identified as the suspect in an incident on Sunday that involved a chase and crashes in south Wichita.
