President William Ruto on Friday, JUne 27, made several changes in the top brass of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), appointing a new commander for the Kenya Army.

In the Kenya Army, Brigadier Faustino Mancha Lobaly has been promoted to Major General and appointed Director of National Defence Security Industries.

Major General Fatuma Gaiti Ahmed dominated news headlines on May 2 last year following her appointment as the commander of the Kenya Airforce.
