FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Fayetteville’s splash pads at Walker and Gulley Parks will open this weekend, offering a free way to cool off, but officials want to remind families to have fun safely.

According to a Facebook post from the chamber of commerce, the splash pad had opened on May 1 — just over a week ago.
