Andy Byron, the startup executive at the center of an extraordinary social media furor, has resigned as CEO of data operations startup Astronomer.

Pete DeJoy became interim CEO of Astronomer after Andy Byron resigned following a viral video at a Coldplay concert that led to an investigation.

The executive was seen with a woman who was not his wife during a Coldplay Kiss-Cam moment at Gillette Stadium last week.
