It felt like only a matter of time before players started posting reactions to the Cincinnati Bengals hitting Tee Higgins with a second franchise tag. Ja'Marr Chase, it seems, tops the list. Chase took to social media after word broke that the Bengals applied the $26 million tag (and made a bold statement while announcing it) and kept things vague with his reaction.

"Now, (the Bengals) have until July 15th. If they can't get a deal done, certainly they could look at trading him," ESPN's Dan Graziano said.

The Cincinnati Bengals have placed the franchise tag on Tee Higgins, the wide receiver announced Monday. Higgins, who also received the designation last year, is set to make $26.2 million under the terms of the tag in 2025-26.
