Mikel Arteta thinks Arsenal can thrive as the chasers in the Premier League title race having spent previous years looking over their shoulders. Arsenal host West Ham on Saturday knowing they can breathe new life into the title race by cutting the gap to Liverpool to just five points ahead of their meeting with Manchester City on Sunday.

Arsenal are currently second in the Premier League, with Liverpool their main competitor in the race for the title.

Manchester City are not used to playing a supporting role in a Premier League title drama but Sunday's home game against leaders Liverpool at least offers Pep Guardiola's inconsistent side the chance to grab centre stage again.
