After a sloppy third quarter, the Nets (14-33) turned a seven-point halftime lead into a two point deficit entering the fourth.

While many teams are interested, Sidery most recently reports that multiple teams are preparing to pull out of trade talks, which could be a problem for Brooklyn regarding its rebuild. The Nets hold a steep asking price for Johnson, looking for at least two first-round picks or a promising young player with at least one pick.

Brooklyn Nets forward Noah Clowney was ruled out of Monday's Sacramento Kings matchup after suffering an ankle injury. Clowney landed on Domantas Sabonis' foot and turned his ankle while going after a rebound in the second quarter. He remained down for an extended period and had to be helped to the locker room.

Cam Johnson will remain sidelined until next week as the Nets field trade offers for his services leading up to the Feb. 6 deadline.
