The world champion Spain women's national team looks to defeat Germany for the first time in history and reach the Euro 2025 final in the sides' semifinal showdown in Zurich on Wednesday, July 23. Spain has never beaten Germany, the eight-time European champions, most recently losing in the bronze-medal match at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

BBC Sport and ITV have agreed a deal for live coverage of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025. The BBC are showing half of the matches across BBC TV and iPlayer, with highlights and clips also shown on the BBC Sport website, app and social media platforms. ITV will show coverage of the other half, including England v Italy on Tuesday 22 July.
