S PRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning and an Ice Storm Warning for several counties ahead of the weekend’s storm system.

The KY3 First Alert Weather Team is tracking the potential for ice. Up to 1/10 to 1/5 an inch of ice is possible throughout Monday. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.
