AC Milan senior advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic has defended his club's transfer policy after the Rossoneri's disappointing exit from the Champions League on Tuesday.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has defended AC Milan’s January transfer window after facing criticism following their Champions League exit at the hands Feyenoord. Milan went into their knockout round play-off second leg trailing 1-0 from the first leg and looked set to overturn the deficit when Santiago Gimenez inside a minute at the San Siro.

AC Milan’s senior adviser, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has hit out at the team and accused the players of “killing themselves”, following their Champions League exit. Ibrahimovic also criticised the referee’s decision to send off Theo Hernandez for diving.
