The SEC broke a record with 14 tournament bids. A record four of those teams advanced to the Elite Eight, and now two to the Final Four. However, despite that top-end success, the conference does not boast the best overall NCAA Tournament winning percentage.

On the men's side, Auburn, Duke, Florida and Houston are all No. 1 seeds. On the women's side, South Carolina and UCLA are top seeds, with two other No. 1 seeds possibly joining them later in the Final Four.

The ACC set a record for NCAA Tournament futility on Friday, as No. 11 seed North Carolina's 71-64 loss to No. 6 seed Ole Miss left Duke as the conference's only team left in the field. It marks the first time since the NCAA Tournament added at-large bids that there won't be multiple ACC teams in the second round.
