WORCESTER — The Worcester Art Museum has unveiled updated design plans for its keenly awaited new Arms and Armor Galleries, which it says are under construction and will open in late 2025.

Constructed over a three-year period concluding in 1931, the four-story building opened as The Museum of Steel and Armor.

The John W. Higgins Armory building in Worcester, a building that once was home to a museum featuring suits of armor and arms, is up for sale, according to Loopnet.com. Located at 100 Barber Ave.
