There’s a concept in psychology known as “hindsight bias.” It’s the idea that if you ask people if they think they could have predicted the future before it happened, they’ll almost always overestimate the likelihood that they could have gotten it right.
The chain announced it will roll out a line of crafted beverages at about 500 McDonald’s restaurants in the coming weeks. Among the lineup will be a Toasted Vanilla Frappe, Strawberry Watermelon Refresher, Sprite Lunar Splash, Popping Tropic Refresher and Creamy Vanilla Cold Brew. Other drinks are also planned, McDonald’s officials said.
The Daily Double features "two 100% beef patties, seasoned to perfection, and topped with melty American cheese, shredded lettuce, slivered onions, mayo and two juicy slices of tomato," McDonald's says.
The Daily Double cheeseburger, made with two beef patties, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo and onions, is available in a McValue meal ($6-$7).
